What is she looking at?

I chanced to find this photograph on the net. For some reason it interests me greatly. Any comments?

“What is she looking at?”

Title should be "Who is she looking at?" ;-) And obviously the answer is ME..

  2. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Nice one cipher, as i've said on many an occasion, your comic touch is unmatched!

  3. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Now she is lookin at me......

  4. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Hey this is just a theory, but what if she is blind??

  5. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

She can't be, Coz she is looking through her tirchi nigahe....

I better clarify something here, the reason I uploaded this photo was because it appealed to me from a photographic sense. While the person has a good pose, the real delights in this photo is the use of background and foreground as well as the juxtaposition with the character in question. It has good perspective and that is why I like this photo.

I'm sorry if u did'nt like comments, i was just kidding.....
if you look at the photo carefully you'll found that this photo is edited by some kind of software like Adobe photoshop, coz fore ground is matched with background and at the right side of photo where actually there is no wall but the graphic designer has cloned the left background with hash tool, well these are some technical things that i've observed, the most attracting and beautiful part of this picture is the way she lookin at something.

You make a very good observation Rajesh, I didn't think of photoshopping. I thought there was actually a wall but it was just out of focus. I liked the colour of her jacket in comparison with the rest of the background and foreground, thought it worked well.

Are you very proficient in using photoshop? It seems you know your stuff well. I have used it once or twice, I really don't understand how to use it. If you know of any good tutorial sites for photoshop please let me know. Thanks

As for the first part of your comment. No problems, i didnt have any problems with the comments, but i was meaning the photo to be taken a little more seriously. I thought it was a good bit of photography, but it seems you have uncovered the many tricks some photographers use. Good observation!

Photoshop is worlds No.1 photo editing software, this is where most of the people make mistake, coz they only think that photoshop is only meant for editing, infact photoshop is very vast softwares with it many utilities and tricks, you make anything out of it (only 2d grafiX, sometimes 3d too with lighting & rendering effect),
ans there is lot more, i know such things coz long time back i went to the art exhibition of Adobe photoshop and i can't eXplain that in words, kind of art those designer made only through photoshop, at that day i said to myself that i'll learn it, i tried a lot and with so many efforts, i've learnt by myself, now days i design posters for any events of my Institute etc...but most of the time i can't devote time coz of my MBA schedule,

well some of the sites that i refered at initial stages are-

If it's not PS, then it's Optics.
(The image is too small for me to say if has gone through any post processing)

To me it looks like, she is standing in front circular wall (arch) and the photo is shot with a shallow depth. May be at f1.2 or f1.4.

    you might be right.......

  15. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Well, it is obvious that I am way below both of you in digital photography and photographic enhancements. It is great to see such avid fans of photos.

    May i recommend: Photosig.
