Commentary...

Is it just me or is Sanjay Manjrekar extremely good at commentating? I've been listening to him for a while now and he has some brilliant humour, insightful comments, a pleasing voice, reasonable lack of bias and a good knowledge of the game.

He is definitely my favourite commentator now!

(Still love Ian Chappell though~)

Yup..i agree with you on this point(not on Gangu though). Sanjay's support for Greg chappell also to be noted. He is my favourite too as of now . But when it comes to hearing Tony , nothing beats that..

    Venkat,

Yes, Sanjay is very good in commentary. I like listening to him.
    Ian is my favourite too.

Tony Grieg is my all time favorite!

I don't understand this affection for Tony Greig with so many Indians! What is it with him that makes him so likeable? I don't like him and feel he is biased heavily towards Australia (as is that rookie Mark Nicholos).

    Venkat.

His flair, humour, spontaneity and his analysis.

I guess it's a matter of personal opinion and frankly I don't really like him. Navjot Singh Sidhu was a funny guy - mostly to laugh at though...

My favourite quote of his is:
"Flattery is like chewing gum, you can chew it while it tastes good, but you can't swallow it."
